During an interview with MTV, Q-Tip was asked why he was not included on the compilation album, Cruel Summer. Q-Tip coolly responded that if there was a Cruel Summer, there had to be a Cruel Winter. Immediately, rumors began flying about another Kanye West-led G.O.O.D. Music album.
Last week, a trailer leaked to the internet in promotion of Cruel Winter. From the looks of the trailer, both a new album and film were on the way. During the spring of 2012, Kanye West and company traveled to Cannes for the Cruel Summer film. It was during this time when Kanye West first went public with Kim Kardashian.
While it appeared as if Cruel Winter would be a bigger deal than Cruel Summer, it turns out Cruel Winter is nothing more than discussion. Earlier today, FUSE TV caught up with the director for the video, who revealed it was not the official trailer. Instead, the trailer was revealed by the director to be a pitch to a potential client.
