Cuba Gooding Jr. SwayA little over a week ago, Cuba Gooding, Jr. made his debut as the controversial OJ Simpson in “The People vs. OJ Simpson” on FX. The casting made some a little upset. However, those who have watched the show are thoroughly impressed with Gooding’s portrayal.

Cuba Gooding, Jr. is likely best-known for bringing humor into his roles, even the serious ones. The lone exception is his role as Tre Styles from his early career and Radio a little later. Since then, he has done a lot of roles in kid movies, but is bringing it as OJ.

Recently, Cuba Gooding, Jr. spoke to Sway for “Sway In The Morning” and talked about playing OJ Simpson. This role, unlike his others, is a dark role, given the nature of what he is playing out. During the interview, Cuba Gooding discussed having difficulty detaching from dark roles, such as this.
