Outside of Cash Money Records, Curren$y is probably New Orleans’ top rap act. Similar to his former label boss, Lil Wayne, Curren$y has enjoyed this success because of his frequent mixtape releases. On the heels of his last mixtape, Curren$y is already back with his latest release.
Refusing to take his foot off the gas, Curren$y released Muscle Car Chronices, his first album of 2012. Muscle Car Chronicles was followed by The Stoned Immaculate, released during the summer. Curren$y and Harry Fraud, known for producing French Montana’s hit single, “Shot Caller,” would then release Cigarette Boats.
Keeping himself out there, Curren$y would hop on his Twitter earlier today and announce his latest release. Curren$y revealed his latest mixtape to be Priest Andretti. While Curren$y has released three projects in 2012, this will be his first mixtape release of the year.
