CyHi The Prynce says Eminem’s ghostwriters were D12 and Proof

CyHi The Prynce is one of the most positive people in hip hop. A decade ago, it looked like he was going to have a run. While he didn’t attain mainstream popularity, CyHi is what one would call a “rapper’s rapper.” As a result, he is someone true hip hop fans know about. Many people credit Eminem for his lyrical abilities. While those people aren’t wrong, CyHi has a theory. On Math Hoffa’s podcast, he credited the D12 group, along with Proof, as Em’s ghostwriters.

CyHi The Prynce gained mainstream attention when he joined G.O.O.D. Music. In 2010, he had a song-stealing verse on Kanye West’s “So Appalled.” This song also featured appearances from Pusha T, Jay-Z, and RZA. In addition, Swizz Beatz was on the hook. With CyHi bringing the heat alongside those lyrical heavyweights, it shows how strong his prowess is. Also, it means he would likely know how rappers go about putting their songs together.

CyHi The Prynce offered a theory on Eminem having ghostwriters. This debate started since Benzino came with his “Rap Elvis” diss. Because of how scathing the song is, people think Benzino used ghostwriters. Speaking on this, CyHi said Eminem does, too. He cited the D12 group and the late Proof, while also making one thing clear. Despite what he said, CyHi said none of this takes away from Eminem being a lyrical legend.
