DaBaby Reportedly Promised To Submit Video of Himself, Apologizing For Making Homophobic and Anti AIDS/HIV Comments, But Never Turned it in Before Scheduled Lollapalooza Performance

DaBaby has been strongly been getting on social media, ever since his Rolling Loud performance, almost two weeks ago. It was there, where he made insensitive comments about gay men, and people with HIV/AIDS.

The Charlotte rapper tried to apologize several times on Twitter, but they didn’t seem very sincere.  Now, according to a Billboard report, DaBaby was initially planning to submit a video apology, that would’ve been aired during Lolapalooza. Oddly enough though, he never turned in this video, and and has ended up costing him even more opportunities with other major festivals.

DaBaby ended up being pulled from the Lollapalooza lineup, along with other major festivals. These include the Governors Ball, and Day N Vegas. He’s been dropped by seven festival lineups, as this was after his team reportedly assured them that this video would be released.

Baby was replaced at Lollapalooza by Young Thug, and Day N Vegas is now replacing him this fall, with Roddy Ricch. Austin City Limits Festival and iHeart Radio Music Festival are some of the other major festivals, which have been listed in one of the seven they’ve dropped DaBaby from their lineups.
