This morning, Orlando was the focus of all of the news headlines. A popular nightclub, Pulse, was shot up just one day after popular internet personality, Christina Grimmie, was killed in the city. Pulse, a popular gay nightclub, had a bigger massacre.
Not only was their night ended in gunfire, the gunman then held the people hostage. The man has since been revealed to be Omar Marteen, his reasoning has not been revealed. But, he did manage to end fifty lives, while fifty-three others were shot.
The news of Marteen shooting up the club is sad, sick, and shocking, so the internet is stunned. Fifty people hitting the nightlife to have a good time, but ending up shot and killed is definitely shocking news. Everyone on Twitter is saying the same thing, “Damn 50,” and the topic is trending, as the world is learning who Marteen is.
