Harlem rapper Dave East finally released his highly anticipated debut studio album ‘Survival‘ in November and it definitely met the expectations of fans on social media. It was led by the single “Alone” featuring Jaquees and had other impressive records on it such as “Need a Sign” feat. Teyana Taylor and “Godfather 4” feat. Nas.
East’s ‘Karma’ mixtape series also started back in 2017 which has been hosted by DJ Holiday. The sequel was released in 2018 and now, he’s ready to release the third installment. East deleted everything on his Instagram feed and then popped up with the cover art for ‘Karma 3: Thoughts of a Menace.’
The cover features a skull with East in the background with Nipsey Hussle, Pop Smoke, and other friends who passed away. Prior to the cover art announcement, East recently previewed some new music from the upcoming mixtape. The Mass Appeal records signee hit a home run with every Karma mixtape so far. The momentum of the success of Survival should carry on to Karma 3 as well. Stay tuned for the official release date and cover art.
