One of the main guys to pay attention to on the comeup in New York City is Dave East, the up-and-comer from Harlem. Recently, Dave East joined forces with Nas and released his new EP, Black Rose. The project was well-received and Dave East managed to attract even more followers to his movement.
Dave East talked to Hip Hop Vibe’s DJ Louie Styles, back in 2013 and he discussed his project release, at the time. He also spoke on his status in the game as a rising rapper from the Harlem area. A lot has changed for Dave East since then, mainly landing one of the biggest possible co-signs in the game.
