DDG celebrates making Forbes’ 30 Under 30 List

DDG is the latest celebrity making big waves in music. Detroit rapper, DDG, celebrates making the list on Forbes’30 Under 30 with a heartfelt post on Instagram. In the post, he details dropping out of college to purse his dreams and the importance of his fans support. DDG, who originally started out making YouTube videos in 2014, has over 2.55 million subscribers with over a billion views and counting. Listed in the music category, DDG is one of two hip-hop artist that made this year’s list.

Giving the entertainment world the best of both, DDG made an incredible transition from YouTube star to international rap star. Signing to Epic Records in 2018, he did not waste anytime releasing viral music and entertaining visuals. His hit single, “Moonwalking in Calabasas,” featuring Blueface, went viral with over 87 million views alone. Also, DDG has worked with Polo G, NLE Choppa, Kevin Gates, Gunna and NBA Youngboy.

Aside from his impressive musical resume, DDG has a large fan base, due to his relationship with singer and actress, Halle Bailey. The pair began dating earlier this year, as pictures and videos of the two surfaced online. Despite his public relationship, his work and dedication in music speaks for itself.
