DJ Envy blasts Busta Rhymes’ new “Thank You” track on Hip Hop Nation [AUDIO]

DJ EnvyBusta Rhymes used to be one of the biggest forces in the game, but he has been a little more of an afterthought in recent years. It took him three years to drop B.O.M.B. and he has not dropped anything new since then. However, Busta Rhymes has teased a new album for a while.

This year, Busta Rhymes dropped his “Twerk It” single with Nicki Minaj and it ended up coming up short. In 2011, Busta Rhymes signed with Cash Money Records and he dropped a free album with Google Play. Working on his official album, Busta Rhymes is calling it E.L.E. 2.

Recently, Busta Rhymes released a track called “Thank You,” which features Q-Tip, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. The song is making its way through the game, but DJ Envy is unimpressed. On his Hip Hop Nation show, DJ Envy made it clear he thinks Busta Rhymes can do better than he did on that track.
