Many people said they invested, after hearing Envy discuss the real estate venture on “The Breakfast Club.” As a result, Envy is now under investigation. Now, an old video that he did with Pena is gaining attention on social media.
DJ Envy originally rose to fame as a member of DJ Clue’s Desert Storm crew. As a result, Envy ended up joining Clue at Hot 97. So, when Clue decided to join Power 105.1, DJ Envy soon followed him. This decision ended up being the wisest of Envy’s career. After four years at the station, they chose him to be the lead co-host of “The Breakfast Club.” They joined him with Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God and they created a highly successful show, which led to Power 105.1 overtaking Hot 97.
