Doechii and JT to perform “Alter Ego” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”
In late March, Doechii released her first single of the year. That was “Alter Ego,” which also included a huge feature from JT. Last week, Doechii also dropped off the alternate version of the single, which has since been trending on social media, as well. Moreover, the alternate version music version on YouTube is also now at over 178,000 views.
Meanwhile, Doechii and JT are on their way to taking Alter Ego to another major stage. It was announced on Monday, that on June 6, they will be performing the collaboration on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” The show is set to begin at 11:35pm ET.
The release of Alter Ego comes after Doechii had a massive breakout 2023. Her “What It Is” single heavily went viral, as it peaked at number 29 in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also included a feature from Kodak Black. It’s also platinum in the US. Additional records that Doechii put out in 2023 included “Pacer,” “Booty Drop” and “Universal Swamp Anthem.” In 2024, fans also hope that Doechii will release her debut studio album.
