Doja Cat loses over 200,000 Instagram followers after fan comment
Doja Cat has been a major trending topic since the weekend, due to interactions with her fans. She went viral after replying to a fan on Instagram, where she claimed that she can’t say she loves her fans, due to not knowing them personally.
As a result, from July 23-24, Doja reportedly went on to lose over 200,000 followers on Instagram. However, she’s still at a comfortable 25.7 million followers. But, Doja’s follower count is continuing to decrease.
Meanwhile, this Instagram controversy comes as Doja is working on her third studio album. This will be a rap-only project, as she previously emphasized how she isn’t into creating pop records anymore. This will be Doja’s first project since 2021’s “Planet Her,” which was one of the biggest albums of the year, and contained some of the biggest hits of that year.
Doja went on to release her first single of the year last month, which was “Attention.” It was there that she showcased even more of the bars that she wants to be more consistent of. This month, she also called out fans for stealing promotional posters for the Attention record.
