Doja Cat scored another huge hit this year, with her ”Kiss Me More” single, that was released in the spring. This record went on to peak at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and quickly got to 2x platinum in the US.
Now, Kiss Me More is getting more plaques. According fo Chart Data, it has now sold over 3 million units, in the US. This now makes it eligible for a 3x platinum certification, by the RIAA.
Kiss Me More went on to appear on Doja’s “Planet Her” album, in June. It debuted at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart, and stayed at that position for three consecutive weeks.
Doja also has five VMA nominations, this month. Two of the are for Kiss Me More, which are for Best Video and Best Collaboration. The awards show will are on September 12.
