Dom Kennedy talks “The Yellow Album” with LA Stereo TV [VIDEO]

One of the most-popular rappers on the West Coast is Dom Kennedy. A part of the “New West,” which is currently led by Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Tyga, Tyler, the Creator, and others, Dom Kennedy is sticking out. Along with fellow Los Angeles-area rapper, Nipsey Hussle, he is rumored to be signing with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music.
Earlier this summer, Dom Kennedy released his highly-anticipated project, The Yellow Album. Dom Kennedy has made quite the name for himself through his series of mixtape releases over the past few years. With his new project out, Dom Kennedy spoke with LA Stereo TV about it.
Dom Kennedy also spoke on being inspired by Nas’ Hip Hop is Dead album, which led to his tattoo. Following the release of The Yellow Album, speculation about where the popular West Coast rapper could land increased. During his interview, Kennedy also addressed this.
