A year ago, Donald Glover, Jr. aka Childish Gambino made history, as his “Atlanta” project finally came to life. His series accurately depicted the rap culture for people trying to get into the game. The journey of his character, Earn, is something anyone can relate to.
Following the first season of “Atlanta,” fans expected the show to return in early 2017. However, due to Donald Glover being cast in some films, he delayed season two until 2018. While that hurt, it has helped to increase anticipation.
Donald Glover, for his efforts, did win hugely at the Emmys, as he made history. Until tonight, no black content creator ever won as the director of an Outstanding Comedy Series. But, Glover broke this record and the fans on Twitter are all here for it.
