Ever since Drake began working closely with Rick Ross and the Maybach Music offer back in 2011, there have been a lot of rumors. Mostly, these rumors have stated Drake is on his way out at Young Money in hopes of establishing his own movement. These rumors are partially true, as Drake is establishing the OVO label.
But, for some reason people did not believe Drake when he met Cash Money Records at the show in New York. The rumors have still continued about Drake and Lil Wayne, regardless of what is said and done. Last week, Nicki Minaj explained Drake was working on his own music and her words were taken out of context.
Drake brought all the big names to town for the OVO Fest, including Lil Wayne. Knowing the hip hop media would be all over it, Drake made it clear where his loyalties lie and it is with YMCMB. For those who missed it, Drake explained they were all busy and that he is still with the team and Lil Wayne is still the best rapper alive.
