People try their best to find reasons to not like Drake, that’s reminiscent of another chart-topping rapper. Complex pretty much said it today, rapping Drake is the new version of Jay-Z and the sentiment has been echoed before. But, Drake and Jay-Z both share being on top of the game and being hated by the people below.
Today was intended to be the big day for Drake, the day Nothing Was The Same was released. But, with albums from his friends, such as Rick Ross and also DJ Khaled dropping, things were rearranged. Rick Ross dropped his album with Maybach Music today and Drake drops next week.
While Drake does not drop until next week, his album leaked this week. Jay-Z is prominently featured on the outro track, “Pound Cake.” The song was met with mixed reviews, but it does not matter, as Jay-Z and Drake have always had a special connection and they met today.
