In the music industry, Drake has become so big that most forgot he started on “Degrassi.” Before he owned the rap game, he was a teenage TV star. The world, mostly Canada, and TEENick fans, knew him as ‘Jimmy Brooks.’
Towards the end of his “Degrassi” run, Drake was in a wheelchair. The character of Jimmy, once a star athlete, was the victim of a shooting. This shooting left ‘Jimmy’ paralyzed, something his portrayer was reportedly upset by.
This morning, there are reports that Drake actually threatened legal action. There are rumors circulating that he threatened to sue “Degrassi” over ‘Jimmy’ being in a wheelchair. Of course, there is no confirmation of this rumor.
