21 Savage and Metro Boomin finally just released the sequel to their 2016 ‘Savage Mode‘ EP and social media is on fire right now. They have been treated to 15 songs with features from Young Thug, Drake, and Young Nudy.
Of course, everyone noticed the Drake feature on “Mr. Right Now” right away and was one of the first songs played on the EP. One lyric that stood out easily was when Drake claimed that he dated SZA in 2008. This was on the lyrics Yeah, said she wanna fuck to some SZA, wait. ‘Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08. If you cool with it, baby, she can still play.”
These claims immediately left fans surprised as nobody expected this couple, especially all the way back in 2008. Both Drake and SZA were in the grinding stages of their music careers. For Drake, this is after he released his ‘Comeback Season‘ mixtape in 2007 which was led by the hit single “Replacement Girl” featuring Trey Songz. At the start of 2008, he released his ‘Scary Hours‘ EP and at the end of the year and at the start of 2009, he was getting ready to put out his breakout ‘So Far Gone‘ mixtape
