Drake subliminally trolls Kendrick Lamar after “Like That” diss
Over the past month, fans have been frequently discussing Kendrick Lamar dissing Drake and J. Cole in his featured verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Like That” record. Cole went on to respond to Kendrick on “7 Minute Drill,” from Cole’s new “Might Delete Later” mixtape, last week. However, Cole went on to apologize to Kendrick during his Dreamville Festival performance, and even took 7 Minute Drill off of streaming platforms, on Friday.
Meanwhile, fans are hoping that Drake responds to Kendrick soon, as many are becoming impatient. It’s still unclear on when that may be, but it now appears that Drake is throwing a subliminal shot at Kendrick.
On Friday, Drake took to his Instagram stories to post a meme, which displays a man giving up, after being so close to digging up hidden diamonds. The caption in the meme read “Never give up. You may be closer than you think.” The area where the diamonds are read “a reaction.”
