Drake has gotten a very bad reputation as a sports fan over the years. He’s known to support any team that’s winning at the moment and coincidentally, gives bad luck to those teams many times. The most recent jinx came when he wore a University of Alabama hoodie before their College Football Playoff National Championship game against Clemson this month. Alabama went on to get demolished 44-16.
Drake decided to address the fun poked at him on social media. He took to his Instagram page to wear an all-black shirt with the logos of the Patriots, Rams, Chiefs, and Saints on it. He told everyone who believes in the Drake curse good luck. New England and Kansas City face off in the AFC Championship Game and Los Angeles takes on New Orleans. Both games have a Super Bowl berth on the line.
It’s good to see Drake handle this like a champ. Heading into this weekend, many figured that he’d wear one team’s gear and they’d be jinxed from there. The way he trolled everyone tonight was hilarious to see. Take a closer look at his NFL shirt below.
