Last month, Drake released another huge record this year in “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk. The music video received high praise just like the single as it featured cameos from star athletes such as Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr, and Marshawn Lynch.
Less than a month later, Laugh Now Cry Later is now certified platinum by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after 1 million units were sold. This single will appear in Drake’s upcoming sixth studio album, ‘Certified Lover Boy.’
Prior to midnight of May 1, Drake announced that his album would be released sometime this summer but as August arrived, many didn’t think that he would come through. The initial announcement of the album three months ago was ahead of the release of his ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes‘ mixtape as well. As far as an exact release date for Certified Lover Boy, that still hasn’t been revealed by the OVO superstar.
