Every Labor Day Weekend, New York City is home to the Electric Zoo Festival, which is a celebration of EDM music. This is usually one of the biggest events of the late summer in New York City. But, there will not be a 2013 edition of the Electric Zoo Festival, because there were two people who died.
Molly became the biggest trend in hip hop last summer. All the biggest names began rapping about Molly in 2012. It started with West Coast rappers, such as Problem, but it was made popular by 2 Chainz, Kanye West, and many more. New York rapper, Yung Joey, even incorporated Molly into his mixtape title.
Due to the usage of Molly, which is a dangerous drug, two people reportedly died. A few months ago, Rick Ross faced major backlash after rapping about drugging a girl with Molly on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” But, the Electric Zoo Festival has issued apologies on Twitter and said they will soon have refunds.
