Stepping out of the limelight, Eve is fresh off an eleven year hiatus. Before this, Eve had risen to become one of the biggest rappers in the game. Setting records left and right, Eve was well on her way to becoming hip hop’s biggest femcee in history. But, the entertainment industry snatched Eve up quickly.
Initially preparing to return in 2007, Eve took six years to get things back going. During this time off, Eve found love and a new city. Dating a wealthy British man, things have gotten serious for her in this relationship. Eve has moved to London to be closer to her man and his children.
At her roots, though, Eve is still an emcee and she is fresh off the release of Lip Lock, her fourth studio album. With the album out, Eve is making her rounds with the media and the latest outlet she spoke to was The Bee Shine. During her interview, Eve detailed her inspiration to make hip hop music.
