Fans predict the NBA Playoffs series, between the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs; Most agree it’s a six game series, but say it’s Spurs in 7, if it goes that far

Since 2014, the Golden State Warriors have owned the NBA. Even in the year where they didn’t win the championship, they went 73-9, the best record of all-time. When they lost, they signed Kevin Durant, completely overshadowing the actual champions.

What many people have forgotten is that the San Antonio Spurs actually won the 2014 championship. Their title effectively ended the dominance the Miami Heat had on the league, since 2010. But, as it is with the Spurs, their win marked a new era for somebody else.

Because of the Warriors’ domination, they were put against the Spurs, who were the defending champions. However, a real rivalry didn’t materialize, until 2016, when both teams chased 70 wins. That run saw the Spurs upset by the OKC Thunder, in their last KD playoff run.

The Warriors had a real threat, in the San Antonio Spurs, during the 2017 conference finals. That was eliminated by the footwork of Zaza Pachulia, and it may have cost San Antonio their franchise player. There are plenty of reasons for the Spurs to be angry, and they have a shot, with Steph Curry out, so fans are debating what will happen, already, in this series.
