Back in 2010, it was revealed that Fat Joe owed over $800,000 in back taxes and it came as a shock since he was a rapper who always boasted about his money.
Over the past three years, a lot of people have wondered what led to Fat Joe not paying his taxes. When he sat down with “The Breakfast Club,” Fat Joe explained that it all fell into the lap of his accountant who was not doing his job. With his prison sentence upcoming, Fat Joe dropped his mixtape, The Darkside 3, this morning.
Fat Joe premiered “The Darkside 3 Intro” music video this afternoon and now he has begun paying his debt to society. The Bronx emcee turned himself in earlier today to begin his prison stint. Over the next four months, Fat Joe will serve his time in prison, according to the TMZ reports.
