Florida teen honored for perfect attendance from K-12

A recent high school graduate, Rikki Blaylock, achieved a remarkable feat. She maintained perfect attendance throughout her entire school career from kindergarten to 12th grade in the Clay County School District, Florida. Over the span of 13 years, she attended 2,340 consecutive school days without missing a single one.

Rikki Blaylock graduated from Ridgeview High School. She was recognized for her dedication and commitment at a Clay County School Board meeting. Superintendent David Broskie presented her with a certificate for “Outstanding Attendance.” Thus, celebrating her exceptional achievement.

Blaylock’s accomplishment was highlighted on social media by the school. In addition, by the Ridgeview Panthers Athletics page. Also, they praised her dedication. The post read:

“Congratulations to our student athlete, Rikki Blaylock, for being awarded perfect attendance from K-12 at last night’s school board meeting! Your dedication and commitment are truly inspiring.”

In addition to her academic dedication, Blaylock was an active member of her school’s track team, holding the school record in Javelin. She was named Ridgeview High School’s Athlete of the Week in April and received the Clay County All County title in Javelin. Blaylock also contributed to her school’s athletic programs by taking photos at different sporting events and was a member of the Lady Panther Soccer Team.

Blaylock’s perfect attendance record and her involvement in extracurricular activities exemplify her remarkable dedication and commitment, serving as an inspiration to her peers and the community.
