“Love & Hip-Hop” star Tommie Lee arrested on drug charges
Tommie Lee, who previously starred on “Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta,” has struggled with various legal issues, over the past 16 years. The most notable charges over the last five years include child abuse, probation violation, and even showing up to court while intoxicated.
Meanwhile, Tommie is apparently in more legal situations, this weekend. According to The Neighborhood Talk, she was reportedly arrested on Saturday night, in Miami. This was as a result of disorderly conduct, breach of peace, and drug charges.
However, Tommie’s team are now denying that she had any drugs on her. She is claiming that the drugs found were her friend’s epilepsy medication. Furthermore, Tommie was said to have been leaving a restaurant, after a confrontation with a “disrespectful” employee who worked there.
“They chose to handcuff and arrest her on grounds of drug possession, despite the fact that the “drugs” were, in fact, her friend’s epilepsy medication,” said a source to The Neighborhood Talk. “They seized upon this as an excuse for her arrest when no other valid reason was evident. It’s completely understandable that she felt infuriated by this unjust treatment, especially when she was spending her own hard-earned money.”
Therefore, Tommie’s team also added that someone else at the restaurant was the one acting disrespectful. Their behavior is stated to have been much worse than Tommie, according to her team.
