The past couple of years have seen Freeway start doing more work with artists from the Bay Area, mainly The Jacka. In fact, the two have built a brotherly relationship. However, all of this ended last month when a shooting left The Jacka lifeless, shocking the rap world.
Freeway kept out of the spotlight with his friend dying. Clearly hurt by the situation, Freeway decided to mourn in silence. But, Freeway decided to break his silence and open up about the situation that cost him his friend and collaborator.
This week, MTV sat down with Freeway and they talked about the loss he is going through. It was not easy, but Freeway talked about The Jacka and having to deal with him no longer being here. In the midst of this, Freeway got a little choked up, but he managed to still talk about his friend.
