Both French Montana and A$AP Rocky have been credited for bringing new life into the hip hop scene in New York City. Through French Montana and A$AP Rocky, many other newcomers have emerged from the City. In addition to these newcomers, many veterans have enjoyed comebacks.
French Montana signed to Bad Boy Records and it appeared as if he would release his debut album, Excuse My French, in 2012. Faced with several delays, French Montana made initial plans to release his debut album in March. The album eventually was delayed from March until April, when the release date was announced.
Recently, however, French Montana revealed there has been yet another delay on his debut album. Excuse My French has faced several delays since the initial July release date. The latest delay on Excuse My French has the album set for a May 21 release on the popular Bad Boy Records.
