Future appeared in a new interview with Genius today and a few of the topics brought up were what continues to drive him to win along with drinking lean. As far as what drives him, the Free Bandz artist said that it’s living every word and being the same way. He also added that it’s simply being the rockstar that he is that helps him continue to make the music.
Future revealed that he stopped drinking lean and that definitely surprised his fans as that’s what they’ve known him to do since he blew up in 2011. He admitted that he stopped but didn’t want to let fans know because he doesn’t want them thinking that his music changed.
Future concluded by saying that fans are so used to artists having a certain persona and that makes artists afraid to change. There’s definitely a lot of truths to what he said. The most important thing though is that he’s clean now and that lean won’t put his life in jeopardy anymore. Hopefully he continues on that track.
