When it comes to doing things without help in hip hop, Gucci Mane is the leading rapper who comes to mind. Taking things back to the old school, Gucci Mane drops street albums and mixtapes as freely as he wishes. Gucci Mane has already dropped seven mixtapes this year and a street album.
In addition to the music releases, Gucci Mane starred alongside James Franco on the movie, Spring Breakers. The film led to some controversy, but it all brought good press to the movie and to Gucci Mane. After movie, Gucci Mane jumped right into his street album, Trap House III.
According to his Twitter, Gucci Mane has another album, Diary of a Trap God, coming soon. A movie is also in the works, which Gucci Mane says will be called Da Spot and he also revealed the Big Money Talk release date for October 17. Gucci Mane also shouted out Wale and Big Sean.
