This year, Gucci Mane has dealt with his ups and his downs, but through it all, he has continued releasing new music. Following up a relatively slow 2012, for him, where he only dropped three projects, Gucci Mane has put out over six projects this year. Now, he is closing the year out with The State vs. Radric Davis II.
Earlier in his career, Gucci Mane dropped The State vs. Radric Davis, which was his major label debut. Immediately, Gucci Mane became one of the biggest names in hip hop with his music, scoring such hits as “Spotlight” with Usher and “Lemonade.” Those were somewhat happier times and Gucci Mane has chosen to revisit them.
Gucci Mane announced The State vs. Radric Davis II last month and he is preparing to drop the project on Christmas. A street album, it will feature more of what Gucci Mane has made himself known for. Tonight, snippets off the upcoming record were leaked to the internet.
