Gunna’s “Fukumean” becomes most streamed rap song of 2023

Gunna has had a huge year, as he released his first project since getting out of jail after reaching a plea deal in his YSL RICO case, last December. This is “A Gift & A Curse,” which went on to see a number three debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. 15 songs were included on this project.

Meanwhile, one of the biggest records from Gunna’s A Gift & A Curse has been “Fukumean.” That peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has just reached another massive milestone.

Fukumean has now become the most streamed rap song of 2023, so far, in the US. This is as a result of surpassing Drake’s “Search & Rescue.”

Furthermore, this month, Gunna also performed at his first concert, since his release from jail. This was inside Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, as he went on to sell out the venue. Gunna’s next show will take place inside the YouTube Theater in the Inglewood area of Los Angeles, on September 28. Moreover, fans also hope that Gunna will be announcing additional dates, as he resumes performing.
