Gunplay attacks club DJ for playing 50 Cent’s diss track on him
Gunplay has had issues with 50 Cent and G-Unit for years. This stems from the long-running feud between Rick Ross and 50 Cent. In 2009, Ross targeted 50 Cent, which led to 50’s G-Unit getting into a feud with Maybach Music. A few times, the feud between G-Unit and MMG has gotten physical. Nas is a person who’s had history with 50 Cent. A few years ago, they restored their friendship and Nas featured 50 on his new song, “Office Hours.” On the song, 50 dissed Gunplay. Allegedly, Gunplay went at a DJ for playing the song while he was in the club.
Gunplay is one of the original members of Rick Ross’ Maybach Music. A Miami native, Gunplay is actually a member of Triple C’s. This is Ross’ group, which also consists of Torch. The trio rose the ranks of the Miami hip hop scene. With Rick Ross being an industry insider, Triple C’s helped both Gunplay and Torch establish themselves as big names. As a result, Gunplay has been able to successfully launch his career.
Gunplay now is best-known for being on “Love & Hip Hop Miami.” Still, the Miami rapper is active in the game. If he weren’t, someone of 50 Cent’s stature would not be dissing him. Recently, 50 Cent took aim at Gunplay on Nas’ “Office Hours.” 50’s verse on the song ended up dissing Gunplay. According to Akademiks, Gunplay heard a DJ playing the song when he was in the club. Allegedly, this was why Gunplay was trying to get the DJ.
