Gunplay in jail after violating restraining order by ex-wife

In August, former Maybach Music Group rapper Gunplay was arrested in Miami for reportedly flashing a rifle at his wife. As a result, the Miami native went on to be charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, and child abuse. Gunplay’s wife was identified as Vonshae Taylor-Morales, as she claimed that he pointed an AK-47 while she was holding their 6-month old daughter.

Furthermore, Gunplay’s incident came after he and Taylor-Morales went to dinner and came home. He began playing the Xbox and soon began to throw glass liquor bottles and cups at her. This was all while holding the baby, as well.

Meanwhile, Gunplay is back in more legal issues, regarding his wife. According to TMZ, he was booked in the Miami-Dade County Jail at 7:10PM on Wednesday. This was as a result of him violating a retraining order that Taylor-Morales had in place.

Gunplay was initially found outside of Taylor-Morales’ home, and that immediately caused the Florida Department of Corrections Community Control to be notified that he was there. In fact, Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s deputies got to her home before he did. Therefore, Gunplay is remaining in jail until his next court date on November 7, as this is the eighth time that he’s violating this restraining order of 500 feet.
