A few years have passed since DJ Drama released his last album. In 2012, DJ Drama had the streets on lock, putting together singles and projects with the likes of 2 Chainz and 50 Cent. He has remained busy, since then, but took a break from the spotlight.
Late in 2014, DJ Drama talked to Hip Hop Vibe about his continued success in the industry. Early in 2015, DJ Drama revealed his next album, Quality Street Music 2, was coming soon. Now, he is promoting music off the new album.
Currently, Alyssa Debonair is in Los Angeles, covering the BET Awards events for Hip Hop Vibe. Her first stop was DJ Drama’s Quality Street Music 2 listening session, where she had the chance to hear the whole album. After the session, DJ Drama popped in for a quick interview, discussing the album, which is due on July 22.
