A legend in the game is Lady Saw and she’s definitely earned her stripes over the past two decades. Indeed, Lady Saw has come a long way since she released Lover Girl, her debut album, in 1994. Over the span of twenty years, Lady Saw has released seven albums and has worked with many of the biggest names in hip hop.
Lady Saw is currently working on Alter Ego, which will be her eighth studio album. This album is her first release since 2010, when My Way was released. As she is working on her new album, Lady Saw is solidifying her collaborations and making her rounds in promotion of the upcoming release.
At the 2014 Global Spin Awards, Hip Hop Vibe had the chance to talk to Lady Saw, who presented during the ceremony. In the interview, Lady Saw plugged Alter Ego and revealed collaborations with Estelle and Flo Rida. She also talked about the DJs she was rooting for at the show.
