Recently, LaLa Anthony is best-known for her acting career, most-notably “Power.” But, many fans think they have known her since she started, citing her MTV days, opposite DJ Clue. That, however, wasn’t her start, she began on the radio, in Atlanta.
LaLa Anthony was interning at the radio and soon began hosting, alongside DJ Chris Luvva Luva (Ludacris). Both would make huge transitions, dominating the early 2000s MTV era. In her case, she has managed to have a new beginning in the 2010s.
At ABFF, LaLa Anthony took time out to speak with Hip-HopVibe.com, once again. Remembering those early days, LaLa spoke on being mentored by Ludacris and Shaka Zulu, as she evolved from radio to hosting on TV, to acting, and producing. She would also discuss being on “Power,” the final season, and moving onto the “Beverly Hills: 90210” reboot, where she’ll play opposite Brian Austin Green.
