This current era of hip hop is the most-interesting ever. For the first time since the early days of commercial hip hop, no artist has a platinum album. Meanwhile, all the legends are still delivering new music, as are the newcomers. The veterans, such as MC Jin, are also still out here getting it in.

MC Jin is fresh off the release of his new album, XIV:LIV, which details the transitions his career has gone through. Aside from the album, MC Jin has a role in the Martin Scorsese film, Revenge of the Green Dragon, which he is very proud of. All of the work MC Jin is putting in is definitely helped shed new light on him.

Hip Hop Vibe talked to MC Jin at the listening party for XIV:LIV and he discussed everything he is involved in. In the third and final part of the interview, MC Jin talked about being driven by Chinese jokes in battle rap. He also discussed working with Martin Scorsese on Revenge of the Green Dragon.
