High school basketball player beats up coach for benching him
Sports can bring out all kinds of emotions, as certain things play out. However, most people manage to keep their composure, for the most part. It’s different when it’s kids and it’s high school. One kid playing basketball for his high school team got benched. As a result, he and his older brother ended up beating the coach up. Now, the teenager and his adult brother are behind bars.
This situation unfolded in Montgomery County, in Texas. The school in question is Willis High School, which is located in Conroe, Texas. While the coach has spoken on the situation, his name has not been revealed to the public. The coach confirmed that he did bench the teen, but only because of his actions during the game towards a player on the opposing team.
Jevin Allen, age 17, and his older brother, Jarrick Allen, are accused of beating up Jevin’s basketball coach. The alleged beating took place after a game where the coach benched Jevin. However, the coach claims he did so after Jevin’s behavior towards an opposing player. After the game, the coach said Jevin’s family was waiting on him. He was beaten and left with injuries to his head, neck, face, and arms.
