In his career, Ice Cube lived more than nine lives. His career began as part of NWA, before he went solo. During the early years of his solo career, Ice Cube earned a position among the top rappers in the game.
Many of Ice Cube’s hits came with Sir Jinx as his producer and this includes the songs that made him a legend. Even as he transitioned into movies, Sir Jinx was there. But, there is conflict between the longtime collaborators.
Ice Cube is being sued by Sir Jinx over unpaid royalties, dating back to 1990. In 2019, Sir Jinx says he realized he wasn’t receiving his fair share of the profits. Saying he’s incurred at least $100,000 in damages, Sir Jinx said he contacted the judge to receive proper accounting.
Meanwhile, sources close to Ice Cube said the rapper has loaned Sir Jinx money, throughout the years, which was never paid back.
