After three years of waiting, Iggy Azalea finally released The New Classic with the help and guidance from T.I. Her emergence came in the summer of 2014 and Iggy Azalea found herself in a media-promoted feud with Nicki Minaj. However, the two both say they have no personal issues with each other, nor should they.
The latest edition of this psuedo beef was to continue tonight at the 2014 American Music Awards, airing on ABC. Tonight is the battle of the booty, with Iggy Azalea set to perform alongside Jennifer Lopez on “Booty,” meanwhile Nicki Minaj does “Anaconda.” Also, due to Nicki Minaj not yet releasing her album , she is not up for Best Rap/Hip Hop Album.
Iggy Azalea celebrated her win for Best Rap/Hip Hop Album tonight and it is her first career award win. She is overly excited about it and she beat out powerhouses, Drake and Eminem, with her win. This led to the fans on Twitter to react in several different ways, ranging from congratulations to laughs.
