While social media can lift people up, it can equally tear them down. Because most social platforms have changed their policies, a lot of people make money from their profiles. However, a lot of these platforms reserve the right to delete a person’s profile without warning. Yesterday, many people thought Instagram did that to them. When they got logged out of their profiles, many people thought they were hacked. It ended up not being the case, thankfully.
Despite being a popular social destination, Instagram can be hostile. Many people have complained about their accounts being removed, despite not having violated anything. Typically, when a person’s account is suspended, there’s an email informing them. Also, there’s an explanation of what happened, but many major influencers have experienced their account just being gone one day. Many of them also randomly got them back.
Yesterday, many people were worried that they were wiped from Instagram without warning. As previously mentioned, most social platforms reserve the right to remove an account without prior notification, at their discretion. Despite this, many people get outraged when it happens to them. In this case, Instagram must have some kind of update in the works, as a large number of people were logged out.
