On Tuesday night, Ja Morant made his highly anticipated regular season debut, after serving a 25-game suspension. That initial suspension came after waiving a gun on Instagram for the second time in 2023, in May. As a result, the Grizzlies suffered heavily without Morant to start this 2023-24 season, with a 6-19 record.

However, Morant had a huge return on Tuesday, as the Grizzlies defeated the New Orleans Pelicans on the road, 115-113. Furthermore, Morant even went on to hit the game-winning shot, as time expired. In addition to this, Morant totaled 34 points, eight assists, and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Morant’s sister has also just taken to social media, to boast about her brother’s game-winner in New Orleans. She emphasized how people would constantly talk trash about Ja in her mentions, and she went on to add that he’s definitely “him.”

Therefore, many now believe that the Grizzlies can save their season, due to the return of Ja. They will take on the Indiana Pacers in Ja’s 2023-24 home debut, on Thursday.
