Jadakiss SwayOne of the grittiest emcees to ever pick up the mic is Jadakiss, the legendary veteran from Yonkers. Introduced as one third of The L.O.X. alongside Styles P and Sheek Louch, Jadakiss made himself a legend. A humble start at Bad Boy Records, but they forced themselves out.

The L.O.X., later rebranded as D-Block made themselves more known alongside DMX with the Ruff Ryders. They spent years on the label under Interscope Records. This label situation became tense when beef began between Jadakiss and 50 Cent.

Jadakiss recently sat down with Sway at Shade 45 for “Sway In The Morning.” There to discuss his new album, Top 5 Dead or Alive, his first project in six years, Jadakiss explained his new album and his personal top five rappers. During the interview, he also spoke on not liking ghostwriting for Diddy, in the past.
