Jamie Foxx spent the first half of 2023 fighting for his life. Now, he may very well spend the rest of the year fighting a lawsuit. Since his release from the hospital, Foxx has gotten right back to his regular life. At the time of his hospitalization, he was working on a new movie. That film was a major success on Netflix. Also, his football trick owned the internet today, but he’s also the latest male celebrity to face a lawsuit, over sexual assault.
Jamie Foxx is one of the most gifted entertainers of all-time. When he broke into Hollywood, he did so as a standup comedian. He used that to land his own sitcom, which he named after himself. On the show, he displayed both his acting chops, and his skills as a singer. After the show, Foxx launched a highly successful music career. In addition, he expanded his acting into lead roles in drama films, outside of comedy.
Jamie Foxx captured the attention of the internet, tonight. He was on a basketball court, when he threw a football from one end of the court to the other. Somehow, the football managed to go through the net, which got the internet talking. As Jamie Foxx was pulling off this trick, a woman’s lawsuit against him went public. She’s accusing Foxx of assaulting her in a restaurant, putting his hands into her pants, and more. The woman is suing, saying this incident happened at Catch NYC in August 2015.
