The year of 2020 has already seen some legends, icons, and rising stars lose their lives. In a year that is barely getting started, there have already been some tough goodbyes. Among those was Ja’Net Dubois, a 1970s legend, and TV icon.
Ja’Net Dubois’ claim to fame is Willona from “Good Times,” but that iconic role kept her on TV for decades to come. Often, her roles played on that role. Even on “Martin,” where she played herself, her character from “Good Times” was heavily mentioned.
A few weeks ago, Ja’Net Dubois passed away, at the age of 74. The entertainment world came forward to pay her their respects. Now, additional news is coming out, surrounding her death, as reports now claim Cab Calloway, of Blues Brothers, was listed as her “secret biological father.”
