Regardless of how wealthy a person is, starting a business, it is a very daunting task. Most regard Oprah as one of the preeminent business owners, especially in the urban world. Even she had high profile struggles launching her OWN network needed help from Tyler Perry.

While Jay Z wasn’t on Oprah’s level of wealthy, he is the man most look to in the hip hop world, among others. There aren’t many people who would criticize Jay Z’s business skills until recently. Jumping into TIDAL was not at all what Jay Z expected.

In addition to wars from countless other streaming services, Jay Z has had to contend with the media questioning what race is employed most by his company and losing executives. The latest executive to leave TIDAL is David Solomon, who joined the company back in 2014 is now leaving. David Solomon served as the marketing manager for TIDAL.
